I was born in a small town, Osage, Oklahoma. I spent my early years in Oklahoma except for the World War II years when my father worked at Bethleham Steel and Mother worked at the Alameda Air Station in Alameda, California.

I was a Boy Scout and earned the rank of Eagle. I am now on the board of the Board of that Boy Scout Council, The Cherokee Council of northern Oklahoma.

 

I was part of the worderful Pawhuska High School Class of 52.

After high school I moved to Wichita Kansas where I worked for Boeing Aircraft Company and attended Wichita University.

My college days were interrupted with three years in the Army Security Agency Far East where I spent a year at the University of Tokyo.

After college I was a paid Boy Scout professional and worked in Wichita, Garner and Mason City Iowa.

After working for the Boy Scouts of America for seven years  I went to work for American Telephone and Telegraph where I retired as a Engineering Manager in 1989

I now live in Brownsville, Texas at Winter Haven Resort Park.   I go to coffee Mondays through Saturdays at the local mall with my radio friends.  I help out with different events when we are up to it.

I drive to Huston or Corpus Christi to go to a ball game with our Son Ron and wife Amy.

I was married to the former Frances Avon Hansen Bauarle for over 50 wonder years who went to be with Our Lord on December 6th, 2012,  we have two sons; Ron and Rick who are married to Amy and Janice
